With years of experience in design, Michiko is a strong visual communicator and brand builder. Her experiences include building brands and content-rich websites for several startups, three of which were acquired by high-profile companies, and elevating traditional brands to the next level. Her strength is her meticulous eye for paying attention to details without losing the brand's big picture. She brings out the essence of the brand through simple yet thoughtful design.

She holds an MFA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She received awards, including the Western Art Directors Club: Award of Excellence, Graphis Poster Annual: Gold, and Graphis Logo Design: Gold. She is originally from Japan, constantly inspired by its design.
